The Community Energy Coordinator (CEC) is a liaison position , coordinating with the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) in Denver. The CEC is charged with producing a local energy strategy and developing an action plan from that. The CEC works with GEO to bring energy efficiency and renewable energy training opportunities, funding opportunities and alternative energy knowledge
to the region.
The CEC’s focus is broken in to three broad groups:
- Residents
- Government
- Businesses
The CEC works with residents, governments and businesses to help them find ways to increase energy efficiency of and to help them implement renewable energy technology where possible.
